Hurricane Sandy Rebuild Monmouth

United Way of Monmouth County has launched Rebuild Monmouth, a major fundraising, volunteer and relief initiative aimed specifically at Monmouth County as it recovers from the devastation of Hurricane Sandy. Through this program, we will take immediate and long-term action to rebuild Monmouth County and meet the evolving needs of the community throughout the coming months and over the next few years.

Our goal is to help families move back into their homes – or new homes – as soon as possible, while supporting them along the way and providing assistance with basic needs and living expenses. We’ll be coordinating volunteers for the long term to give valuable time to help those in need. We’ll also be helping area nonprofits recover, so that they can better serve affected communities. 100% of the money donated to this fund will be used in the recovery effort.

Your help is needed now to begin the process of rebuilding communities and lives in Monmouth County. Please make a gift to the Rebuild Monmouth Fund
